Presentation

The Robotics and Creative Camps are for children from 6 to 14 years of age and will take place from the 1st to the 7th of September 2024.

Identity Traits

This is an educational outdoor activity whose principal activities are robotic technology and intellectual creativity which are complemented by games, sports and adventure outdoors.
The robotic and technological activities allow the participants to generate creative answers and solutions and to achieve the goals they are set every day.  

Objectives

The objectives we propose are:

• To teach robotics (programming and constructing robots) in small groups (2 to 4 participants) from given challenges.
• To encourage critical thinking based on the provided challenges related to scientific, technologic, engineering and mathematic competences.
• To learn to draw, design and print 3D objects.
• To encourage an atmosphere suitable for children to take the initiative in various situations with alternative answers.
• To stimulate creativity as a source of research and alternative solutions.
• To develop an ability to coordinate and cooperate through team work.
• To introduce an educational programme including values and abilities related to technology and innovation.
• To introduce the participants to different adventure sports.
• To encourage different sports using the facilities the Mas Llop has to offer.
• To make the participants aware of the natural environment and immediate surroundings, encouraging respect for nature and the enjoyment from it.

Dates and Prices

Timetable

Below is a sample of a general timetable showing some activities. The activities are adapted for each age group and the monitors work to a set programme adapted to each individual's or group's needs. Generally the itinerary is as follows:

Meals

Our menus are prepared by a specialist and supervised by a dietician. They are prepared in our own kitchens which allows us to adapt to any specific dietary requirements. If a child is allergic to any food type the menu can be adapted with a month’s notice before the activities begin.
